King Henry VIII Arrested In Dublin?

Okay, that was some lame attempt for a clever title that obviously did not work. In any case, the Los Angeles Times reported that Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who plays King Henry VIII in Showtime’s popular drama The Tudors, was arrested this weekend at Dublin Airport (that would be in Ireland, for those who ditched geography class that one day) for public drunkenness and breach of the peace. Wow – breach of the peace – that is heavy. Relax, the picture above is of ye past when he was at LAX with his honey, but at least you can all get a visual of what he must have looked like when he got arrested (probably still that hot yet very drunk). Rhys Meyers has had his stint in rehab this year for alcohol dependency and has been reported to be doing well with sobriety. But the disease that is alcoholism can get anyone at their most vulnerable, so let’s just hope this incident opens Jon’s eyes a bit and that he gathers the support he needs.
