Exclusive: WGA 1, Jim Carrey 0

The WGA took to the streets of Silver Lake to interrupt the Jim Carrey set of Yes Man and were successful in shutting production down for the day. The WGA has been invading movie and television sets throughout Southern California since the beginning of the strike shutting down several sets ranging from hours to days. I’ve hung out with the WGA on various sets and I’ve got to tell you, they are keeping their writing wits about them coming up with clever chants and sharing other humorous anecdotes to pass the time. Julia Schoolin’ The Paps

This probably wasn’t the gesture nor the smile Julie Roberts gave a few paparazzis yesterday when she angrily chased them down near a school. She reportedly saw a few photographers filming her while she was near a school and got in her car and confronted them. She scolded the photogs and told them that they shouldn’t be filming near a school. Okay, you have to understand that someone like Julia, who is the consummate hippie-mama-bear type of woman (and that is by all means a compliment) will always, always try to protect something sacred to her. And a school, which is something her kids will be attending in the future, is probably as important as a cake is to a fat kid. Or something like that. But you gather my thoughts. So, she got upset and let a few paps have it. Another day in the life of Hollywood (yes, Hollywood is the main character here…and we’re all just extras).

Ah, young love. It’s such an oxymoron. Sweet yet sour. Okay, that really wasn’t an oxymoron, but Lindsay Lohan and her beau of a few months, snowboarder Riley Giles, broke up! Yes, ladies and gents, it’s a sad day. LiLo met Riley at Cirque Lodge in Utah when they were both in for rehab. Sometimes you meet someone when you’re at your most vulnerable and get attached to them and then when you’re back in normal life - you head separate ways. Yes, we’ve already analyzed their situation in the JFX offices. Seriously, though, Lindsay looks like she’s been concentrating on her career and getting her life back in order, as of late. It’s probably best that both go their separate ways, grow their own wings, and whatever else a Hallmark card would say. Well, at least you can view some pics of them during their heydey. Here they are jewelry shopping together at XIV Karat, Ltd. in Beverly Hills just a few weeks ago. Enjoy their memories.
Selma Blair Feeds The Kitty

We caught up with Selma Blair yesterday while doing a little Christmas shopping at Cuvee in Beverly Hills. Selma, in an odd celebrity trend, actually fed the parking meter, did not park in the red zone and did not park in a handicapped parking spot! Our photographers weren’t sure to what to make of it. Selma will be seen next in Hellboy 2, which you can also see the character poster for her below.
Amanda Brooks Au Naturale

Ok, so Amanda Brooks isn’t nude but she’s as natural as you’re ever going to see her. Amanda showed off her dressed down natural beauty and her love of 18th Century German poets while shopping on Robertson yesterday. I’ve got to admit, I don’t know too much about this girl but I think I’m in love. 18th Century German poetry, sweats and cross-trainers is the short-cut to my heart.
