Did Vanessa Breach Anything?

Has it really come to this? How many lawsuit and arrest stories are we going to do today? And why does this one involve a High School Musical star? And Zac Efron’s girlfriend? Vanessa Hudgens is involved in a breach of contract lawsuit with her former attorney, Brian Schall. He says Vanessa owes him at least $150,000 in back commission. A Los Angeles County judge has ruled in favor of Schall to proceed with the case and both parties are due back in court on January 15, 2008. Vanessa’s contesting the case claiming that she was only sixteen when contracts were signed with Schall, but the the judge says otherwise, stating that Hudgens waited until she was eighteen to counter Schall’s breach of contract claim. Oye. I guess we’ll have to wait until January to find out what happens here, but with so many teen actors in Hollywood, using age as an argument doesn’t really hold much value. Vanessa will be filming another HSM installment, so we’re sure she’ll have some chump change to give to Schall if it ever comes down to that. As always, we’ll keep you posted on this.
