Kevin Gets Temporary Sole Custody

As we reported earlier, Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, had requested an emergency meeting at L.A. County Courthouse regarding Britney Spears’ sudden mental breakdown last night. As of this afternoon, a judge has ordered that Kevin will get sole custody of the kids. The judge said Spears’s “visitation with the minor children is suspended pending further order of the court.” The ruling is in effect until January 14. Obviously this is a good idea, since Britney is currently going through mental evaulation while at Cedar Sinai. After the ruling, Kaplan was quoted saying “there are no winners here.” And he’s absolutely right – there are no winners here. And the biggest losers are the poor babies. For now, though, the two boys are safe and sound with their daddy in his Tarzana home. Hopefully Kevin’s also surrounding himself with family members and friends for support while dealing with all this drama.
