Update: Poor, Poor Sam…Gets Restraining Order!
Update: So much for reports that Sam’s the only one who can see Britney in the hospital. Sources have confirmed that Brit’s parents now have a restraining order in effect for 22 days against Sam Lutfi. That’s right – Sam cannot go near Britney. He can’t visit her in the hospital, nor can he go to her house (where he’s been staying). I wonder how he’s handling this news. I’m sure he’ll be talking to all the media outlets today to complain about this. Britney’s dad and a lawyer were awarded temporary conservatorship over Brit’s estate today. They’re due back in court February 4 for another hearing. More updates to follow.
There’s been reports floating around that Sam Lutfi is the only one that’s been allowed to see Britney. He’s been photographed taking food in to the hospital and he’s also been telling anyone who will listen that Britney does not want to see her own parents. But we’ve also learned that this is all a very clever lie. Sam has NOT been allowed to see Britney NOR has Britney denied her parents. The hospital is under strict orders from Britney’s brother Bryan to not allow Sam access to Britney. For some reason, Sam is more concerned with public perception rather than reality. I believe it was Shakespeare who said, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

I think Sam wants everyone to think he is in charge. Hopefully the court will see what he is really like and bar him from having contact. I also think a person outside of the circle needs to be appointed to make financial decisions so that it doesnt look like it is a play for her money no matter who wins.

God I can’t stand Sam. He makes me sicker by the moment. He only cares aobut himself and about being able to spend Brit’s money and live in her house. Yeah, I also read that someone else may have charge over Brit’s money other than Jamie. At least that’s what Jamie and Lynne want so that it won’t look like they want her money.

I may be wrong but I truly feel that one reason why Sam has been so on edge about the Spears Family being around is that he does not want some of his actions to be uncovered. I hope I am wrong but something tells me he has been a shady part of the going ons for some time.
Keep an eye on him. Keep an eye on his finances.

What a tangled web he has woven. I wish we knew the “real” story. Obviously there is much, much more to this. Something has to have went down for there to have a restraining order implemented. Ohhhh .. it just makes me wanna know what has really been going on. And for them mention changing locks and details like that. Very interesting!

haven’t heard a whole lot from any side about what is really going on..just one word here or there…and lots of innuendo from the different presses. Many people with treatment for bipolar or any or the various mental illnesses go on and learn to manage their lives wonderfully…Brit will gain control in short order of all decision making…and she will decide who stays and who goes in her life….and as she has always done, she will be successful, and much wiser about her condition whatever it may be, and much better off than most people on this board.

Has anyone heard Ryan Seacrest’s opinion on the whole matter? He seems to side with this creep, claiming that he’s “genuine” and that Sam broke down into to tears while on the phone with him. Crocodile tears! All he’s been doing is trying to smear Spears’ family name to anyone who’s willing to listen. He insists that the Spears’ family are more concerned with their public image rather than their daughter’s well being. Excuse me? Sam is the one that’s shopping every news source he can find to let everyone know that he’s the good guy and the family is bad. The Spears family haven’t said anything in an attempt to save face. I’m glad Lynne and Jamie were successful in obtaining control over Britney’s assets, they did it with a third party to prove that the money isn’t their interest. Their interest is in protecting what their daughter earned through her own hard work. Wouldn’t it be a shame to lose all that to Sam? For a court to issue a restraining order against Sam speaks volumes to his character and the fact that this is his 3rd restraining order is certainly something to ponder about. Get well Britney, get back with your boys because they love you and need you.

I’m really happy I found this site. I appreciate the care that you take with finding out the truth and not just jumping and printing rumours, especially since this is such a sad and crazy situation. Money can bring out the worst in all folks. I am happy Britney’s parents are invovled now, but am not surprised to now hear Sam will challenge them. Of course he will. Anything to create more drama. I am sure Britney is probably freaking out by now and propably thinks her parents just want her money (just as they feared and expressed vocally) I’m sure she will be mad at them, and I hope for her sake they stand firm and that Lutfi does not find a way to weasel back in. It’s pretty much QED that Britney would not be happy about the coservatorship, and what does Sam do? Play off that, naturally. The tactful, intelligent thing that any caring person who has Britney’s best interest at heart would be to administer tough love and support the parents decision, instead of creating more drama and publicly fighting these decisions. The first and foremost important thing is for Britney to get well. Once that happens, and she is fit and confident, she could manage her own affairs again. The last thing she needs is the stress of more drama added into her life, yet there is Sam, throwing logs on the fire without any regard for the affect this can have on Britney long term. It seems as if he WANTS as much drama, stress, crazy, paranoia, and mistrust in her life as possible. He sure doesn’t seem to be offering her courses in Zen. Maybe a cheesburger and a frap, but nothing she really needs.
Sam seems like he is always looking for a scapegoat as well. Seems like misdirection to me. First Adnan whos only visible fault appears to be the silly interview he gave ET. He sure didn’t come off like he was trying to profit in that, and the rest, is all rumours. He allegedly has video and pictures he is shopping around. Hmmm. Odd. None have surfaced, I wonder where the rumors came from? Yet, he sure made a handy scapegoat for Sam, eh? Could the rumors have possibly come from the same source who is now running around talking to anyone who will listen and not even being discret about it? x17 seems to still be asking, “when is Adnan out of the picture?” I ask them, for what? A rumor he has film? He doesn’t appear to have done anything to hurt Brit, and appears to be a good guy, yet there they are, screaming for his head on a platter. Why? Because he’s dating her? Because he’s a former pap? Certainly not because he’s Arab. Where is his big crime here? I don’t see him fighting for controll of Brit’s estate, or maligning her parents, or doing anything bad really. I could be wrong about him, but I hope I’m not. It is admirable that he has kept a low profile, and hopefully his concern and care for Brit is genuine and he can, for the time being, be a friend to her, because the last thing she needs right now is man drama on top of everything else. By the by, there is still loose cannon Sam, and now that dragging Adnan through the mud has become flimsy and won’t profit him, he goes on record maligning Brit’s parents? Wow. Amazing. Brit might be mad at her parents now, but if their plan works…she will thank them later, and she will certainly read the horrible words Sam has said about them. He is making himself look like a jerk. I hope any judge sees this when the come to blows in the courtroom on Monday. This is uneccessary drama, and takes the focus off Britney. Not good, and really fucked. He should have a little faith that regardless of who is temporarily (key word) in charge of the estate, the only way for Brit to get well is for the doctors to do their job and for the crazy three ringed circus around her to find another act for the time being.
I say prayers that Sam stays out of Britney’s life and that this intervention is successful, and that she gets the help she needs, so she can live a better life, and most importantly be a good mother to her two beautiful sons.
That was my long rambling two cents. Thanks for having a great, impartial blog and for doing the best you can to report the truth. Who said the truth eventually comes out anyway? Oh, yeah Adnan did. Good on him.

yeah. One has to wonder how they can get “updates” from the hospital. People like to comment that Harvey has connections, but there is patient doctor confidentiality. I’m sure its probably double strict in the psych wing. So, I’m not too sure I believe it either. I wonder what Sam is up to?

Oh yes, KLM. The HIPAA act prevents the sharing of this type of information about her condition. It is ILLEGAL for the hospital staff to disseminate any details about Britneys condition and they are legally open to a lawsuit if they do so. They also KNOW this, so they would take any precautions to protect themselves and the patients confidentiality. Therefore, I assume there is a leak, or someone is making up stories, or a combination of both. Staff can’t say anything, but visitors and lay people on the scene can. Not to mention Brit has access to the phone. If she indeed “went ballistic” someone was obviously on the receiving end of that call and went public with it. Notice no medical updates have leaked since Brit was classified as G.D.? When was Sam banned from the hospital again? He DID have full access to her medical information, and oh, look at that, it’s public now. How dispectful and tacky. I hate to sound paranoid, but it sounds to me like he stirs up as much controversy as possible to generate the highest amount of press. He’s almost like a troll on a message board, except I don’t think watching the meyhem is the reward he is seeking. He just gives me such a bad feeling, and publicly attacking Brit’s parents? That is creepy and disrespectful beyond measure, and something that is just not done in the culture he comes from. It’s a huge no no, especially not someone’s mother.

I think Jaimie Spears needs to hire Adnan as a Security Manager to arrange for 24/7 security ensure the wellfare of his daughter and physical properties.
Of course that means he would move into Brit’s house to make sure intruders like Sam stay out where they belong

The restraining order supposedly was because Sam was harassing Britney. I wonder if he kept telling her he would spill the secrets about her that he knows. Probably. The scum bag.Hate him. Hate him. Got my wishes!!! Sam Lutfi is out of Brit’s life and has restraining orders against him!!!! So happy to hear that Brit’s Dad and Attorney are in charge of her affairs now!!! Thank God!!! All my love and prayers to Jamie and Lynn Spears and the rest of the family!!! Britney will make it!!! She go on to learn from all of this and things will work out for her!!!
I miss Adnan! Where is Adnan? I hope that he and Brit do get a chance to be together–I truly believe that he has been positive for her and that they truly care for one another. Time will tell.

I think Sam made a HUGE mistake by telling the press that Britney had a restraining order out on Adnan. That imediately put him under suspicion when Britney was then photographed with Adnan. Then going on to bad mouth her parents DID NOT LOOK GOOD. Along with him coming under suspicion with K-Feds lawyers…..Had he played it differently, who knows, he could have still been there in the drivers seat, without anyone worrying…Which is worrying in its self!! ALTHOUGH, we still dont have any TRUE facts about Sams dirty work. Although he seems shifty….

to StyleMaven & others: Another sight were they are posting positive commentary on Britney is Finalpixx … I hear they may have been sleazy in the past but I only came to know them SINCE Adnan came into the picture and they have restructured their viewpoints and posts for long-term gain.
Don’t even talk to me about X17 who doesn’t print ANYTHING about Britney I am interested in reading because they are so biased in their PRO Sam and Anti-Adnan approach …. however I don’t mind looking at their video clips
