Update: Britney Out of Hospital

Update #2: Brit’s currently on the move. She’s already out and about driving her new black Mercedes with an unidentified male companion. She’s been spotted heading west on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. More updates to come.

Update: According to TMZ.com Britney Spears was released from UCLA Medical Center this morning. They got word from a law enforcement source that Brit was no longer required to stay at the hospital after 11:30am today. We’ll have more updates for you throughout the day.

It’s an apt heading: Britney Spears, Inside An American Tragedy. And it’s been a tragedy, to say the least, for one of the most famous pop stars in the last decade. Britney’s currently on the cover of Rolling Stones magazine while still holed up at UCLA Medical Center, where she’s still undergoing treatment. The new issue talks about Brit’s teen star life and has very detailed accounts. The story contains information including Britney getting breast implants approved by Lynne when she was just a teenager. It also tells of her non-relationship with dad, Jamie, and her eventual breakup with Justin Timberlake. The issue is out on newstands now, so you can read the whole article yourself. Just from the excerpts in the article, it does sound like Britney had a very turbulent life, even through her successes. She grew up in the public eye and that’s not an easy thing to do. It is troubling to read about her tumultuous relationship with her parents and it gives some insight as to why she’s a wreck. The important thing now, though, is that she sticks to her treatment. We can all blame her parents for all the bad things they’ve done to her, but it won’t do Brit much good. What’s she’s doing for herself today is what counts and that’s what she should focus on.
