Yes, I know – so random. UK’s favorite tabloid newspaper The Sun is reporting that identity thieves have gotten a hold of Kurt Cobain’s info and have bought a house under his name. This is so disturbing. Cobain, lead singer of seminal grunge group Nirvana, died in 1994 from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. Now it seems that someone using his name has purchased a home in New Brunswick, NJ. His widow, Courtney Love, told The Sun that this could be one of the biggest cases of identity theft in U.S. history. She also states that she’s known this was going on since 2003. The bulk of Kurt’s estate was left to his daughter, Frances Bean.
