Okay, How Was The Video?!

britney7.jpg

I’m a dork, so of course I didn’t get a chance to watch Brit’s new video this afternoon, even though I was prepared and had the passwords all ready to go. Ugh! Anyway, did any of you see it? If so, please fill me in. Thanks!

Dont think that was a really good video. Kinda BORING and didnt make any sence.

  2. KLM Says:

Well … I jus got home and just watched the video. I love the entire cd .. and I like this song also. The video doesn’t quite match the song. The animation is ok … but it’s not a fit. Like someone else said somewhere …. it’s like someone took the song and made a video for it. But the end said … to be continued.

So, I dunno. Maybe it will grow on me. :)

  3. MH Says:

    lame, pointless, waste of time.

  4. doc1955 Says:

    You didnt miss a thing

Trust us and We are PRO Britney

  5. StyleMaven Says:

The artistic aesthetic produced by the animation team is excellent but it is not even marginally representative of the singer‘s image. Overall, it seemed less an artistic endeavor by the singer and more like Jive Records executives striving to meet a release deadline. I won’t comment on the song in detail because I have a unfavorable opinion.

  6. nosey Says:

I think its a great idea to have a cartoon, but its too slow moving and un-dynamic. The music is more up-beat than the video, and so brings the song down…..Real shame. They could have created something realy special there..

  7. Radar Says:

    Hated it.

  8. pieceofbritneybitch.com Says:

Well, I wished she was in the video! In Toxic…they had both..so was some what not happy about this video!

  9. Amapola Says:

It seams to be more hiding in the video.
This is about Chiwoo, vol 1

If only his mysterious father would just show himself! What secret could drive them apart?
When his father suddenly reappears Chiwoo learns that his father is a Mangnani a mysterious executioner who carries out God’s judgment. Only his father’s dance prior to the beheading of a sinner determines the fate of one’s afterlife- the forgiveness from God or the eternal damnation.

    Vol 2.
Chiwoo finally starts to understand more about Mangnani – the executioner that he is destined to become – all the while continuing to still search for his father. As his journey progresses, he begins to question the thought of becoming Mangnani himself.
Constantly being chased after by the Emperor’s army, he will meet much more powerful foes, as well as friends in this second book of the series”
    Vol 3
With his new and more powerful friends, Chiwoo heads toward Chug-Li village to find his father Bi-Hyun.
Instead, he is greeted by a band of immortal enemies who have been eagerly awaiting his arrival – and are just as eager to take his life. Will he be able to defeat the immortals and find his father?!
    Vol 4.
At last, Chiwoo dances his first SuhYuMoo, and is reborn as real Magnani!
To rescue Wol-Baek – who is being held prisioner by the Emperor’s army, Chiwoo, Ma-No and Ju-Shi head off on their last journey.
The group is determined to elude the long painful destiny between Chiwoo and Yi-Yun!”

There are 5 books at least about Chiwoo…
    “To be continued” ?????

I was just about to post that Amapola!! lol

    Britney the sci-fi enthusiast? But it’s fitting…

    - Chiwoo finds the world a diffcult place to fit in
    > we know this about Brit

    - A secret drove him apart from his Father
    > She’s been apart from family!

    - Father is a mysterious executioner, carrying out God’s judgement & determines a sinners fate
    >Brit’s dad carries out courts judgement, decides her fate

    - Chiwwo is on the run
    >Yes she’s running

  11. britaculous Says:

According to the same accounts, when Chiwoo became an emperor of Baedalguk, Yoomang (楡罔), who was a descendant of Shennong, was a king in the nation of Shennong. At that time, the nation of Shennong became powerful because the population had increased so much. Emperor Chiwoo felt surrounded by threats and decided to attack the nation of Shennong, and prepared bows, arrows, spears and swords. Emperor Chiwoo assembled his army of nine grand generals and 81 adjunt generals in Zhuolu/Takrok, and conquered the troops of Yoomang at Kuhon. Thereafter, Emperor Huangdi heard that Emperor Chiwoo was governing the land of Shennong. Huangdi assembled his troops, and waged war on Emperor Chiwoo and Baedal more than 70 times during ten years. It is said that Emperor Chiwoo defeated Emperor Huangdi in all of the battles except one. (It should be noted that this account was the direct reverse of Chinese accounts.)

Chiwoo, also called “Chiwoo Cheonwang”(means ‘Great Emperor Chiwoo from Heaven’) in Korea

    Interesting!

But for all of us over 30, we really don’t give a damn about a Chiapoopet.

Give us Britney in live form!

  13. britaculous Says:

    Find out about Chiwoo series:

  14. britaculous Says:

I agree doc. Such a good song. Shame not to see her in it!

  15. Amapola Says:

If ONE video is animated, and all the others have been “natural”, its not such harm done?
Also.Britney have kids and they will certainly like mom singing to manga animated things in the future. Kids and young people love it. They are also Britneys future public/fans.
They will love her voice and fell the same warm feeling as we “olders” whenever Britney give us a smile and when she is happy.
Can’t help loving her, the same for us all.

(I also think this manga story end up in enemies wiped out, peace with family and destiny) :)

  16. KLM Says:

where’d you all find this info. I mean, how do you know it is chiwoo? Did you read it somewhere.

  17. Amapola Says:

    KLM

If you look on the video and us STOP as soon you see some text message you will find this:

JURIS or JUNS or ? (in the beginning af the video)
    AM
    BaR
    DANGER
    BREACH
CHIWOO (when she start the timer/hand-grenade(59:20 and 11:12)
    VICTORY

  18. Amapola Says:

On of the “nicest” moments in the video is when she “feel” the sniper. She bend her head right back in exatly right moment. The bullit overpass her face, almost touch (killed) her, but she reacted precisely..

  19. Christina Says:

They could have done way better than this anime video. Such a shame!

  20. KLM Says:

where is the best copy online>?

  21. jadedangel964 Says:

    okay, I admit, I haven’t seen the video (can u spell “dial-up”);
but I wanted to say one thing : congratulations, Britney, on all the kudos from your acting job. I had to write out the entire word, not just “congrats”; really.; this shows that yoiu have the ability to work in an ensemble, and not just have to be the superstar.

  22. britaculous Says:

KLM. I think the other sites are all sourcing it from blackoutball.com … I imagine that a better version will be available online soon?!

Anyone feel parts of it reminded them of things?
The bit she jumps into the room through the circular glass roof reminds me of Michael Douglas in “The Game” (good film!) when he jumps off the roof… And the bit when what looks like her twin in that fluid filled tube (also at start of vid) reminds me a bit of Minorty Report…As a twin is that Britney trying to save herself?
    Too much thinking into it!

  23. LOCK SAM UP Says:

I saw the vid on blackoutball.com, pw DANGER VICTORY, it’s the best copy, but still surprisingly poor quzlity. I really see no connection between the vid and song. Maybe that was the intention, to just make up some anime character and to go a totally different route. If the meaning is symbolic, it’s escaping me. Blackball said that Britney had a message to tell. Um, she feels trapped, in constant danger, under attack and she had to rescue herself, leading to victory? Maybe her “message” is the Chiwoo thing as discussed above.

I agree, there was really no likeness to Britney. I do like the song, though.
