Brit’s Hospital Records Viewed
This is insane news (no pun intended). The L.A. Times is reporting that the UCLA Medical Center will be firing some staffers who apparently took a look at Britney’s private hospital records. Such an act is illegal even if you’re not famous, so this is not something special they’re doing for Brit. Patient’s confidentiality, people! Patient’s confidentiality. UCLA Med Center will be letting go 13 employees, and six are already suspended. Here’s another troubling fact – at least six physicians have also been reprimanded for taking a peek. Goodness! Brit was last hospitalized on January 31.

People do this all the time. Especially in the medical and finance fields. Work for a bank and you have access to thousands of stars. No big thing. They just want to keep Britney in the news.

Doc it is a huge deal, especially since HIPAA was passed. The hospital is also liable if Brit chooses to pursue this legally, which is why they are taking measures and being so public about it.
Alongside anyone who viewed or attempted to view
the records. It is a Federal crime, punishable with hefty fines for the hospital, the specific people involved, and even the department heads (even if they were not directly involved). Not to mention that in recent times nice jail sentences have been handed out for the same crime.
Anyone who knowingly publishes any information gleaned from this incident would be open to being sued as well.

By the way has anyone seen the AH video of Adnan at the CA/EH fashion show on Thurs? He talks vaguely about Britney.

^^That was so wrong that the lady didn’t say she was from Access Hollywood until she was already interviewing him.
I liked that he didn’t say much. Just a couple words. Very nice.
I hope they’re friendship grows to a point where if their romantic relationship does not work out, they can remain friends.

They tricked him into an interview without telling him who they are. Well, good for them otherwise we wouldn’t have this video to look at. He looks so hot even when he is sweaty! He took out his nose jewelry.
Why is he inclined to refuse Accesshollywood interviews but he let a TMZ pap video tape his conversation with the designer????
Ari, you are right. He gave so few “real info” she does sound pitiful trying so hard to get it out of him. That’s what she deserved for failing to identify and introduce herself as an Accesshollywood interviewer.
Addy only wants to talk about himself and why he was there. He seems shy about his celebrity (by relationship) with the way people approach and look at him. They look at him and he looks at them in the eyes and sees the pride they have in him for scoring Britney. LOL LOL LOL, People (me included) are funny in the way we see this. I’m so proud of Adnan getting that girl, I would ask for a picture or autograph from him just for that. I’m filled with pride and respect for this guy!

The TMZ “interview” was taking from a long distance, and with micropfones.
Not sure it was meant to be an interview, but after a while the camera-micropfones turn closer.
(I saw it yesterday, well yesterday for me on my longitude) and I remember I thought about that.
I don’t think Adnan did anything wrong, he was a gentleman as usual.

Amapola, I don’t know if it is the web so much as it is we have become a world, yes a world although the US and Britain are the worst, who thrives on salacious gossip, having the “juicy” story and “inside” track. So long as the publication gets it story and as long as people get to hear things about those who have an “unattainable” life privacy goes out the window! Which is quite sad really! Especially since other major stars have been hospitalized or gone to rehab without all of this hoopla coming out.
It just goes to show you that Britney Spears is not treated as everyone else, including other celebrities. Absolutely nothing she does is ever kept private and regardless of if you think that she helped create the current media frenzy, you should feel at least a little pity for her.

Rehema, how was he supposed to prevent someone from taping the conversation? If he would have asked him to stop, you think they would have? No, they would have done it still and said that he is a good for nothing pig who thinks he is more important than he really is.
