Miley’s Name Change

Miley’s Name Change

Forget about calling her Destiny Hope Cyrus – she’ll only be answering to (and writing checks under) Miley Ray Cyrus, thank you very much. I didn’t even know her real name was Destiny Hope. Anyway, Miley’s been called Miley since she was a little girl, so she decided to change her name. Papers requesting the change were filed last Friday in L.A. County Superior Court by her parents. New names aside, Miley was again all smiles when our photogs found her at the local Coffee Bean with her mom this afternoon. Word from our photogs is that cops came in the scene and tried to ticket all the paps. Miley’s mom, Tish, luckily stepped in and talked the cop out of writing the tickets. She also bought the paps some snacks. Isn’t that sweet? Hey, you do get your manners from your parents, so we know where Miley’s getting her happy genes from. Miley also displayed her peace-loving ways, showing off not only her peace sign, but a nice necklace charm as well. Check out the other pics below of the adorable Disney star and her lovely mama.

It is so sickening to me for this little girl to get all of this press time.

I’m with you doc! I have two teenage daughters, and they are not at all interested in her. I don’t understand why the media has plastered her all over gossip pages, since her fans are probably 12 and younger. It’s sad her parents are subjecting her to cameras thrust in her face 24/7. This can’t be safe or emotionally healthy.

I disagree with you both Doc and Paz. Personally, I’m sixteen years old, and I love Miley Cyrus.
She’s such a great role model, for not only me and my 9 year old sister but for all little kids and teenagers in America.
I have plenty of friends that love her, and some friends that really aren’t interested. There’s a few closet fans, and even fewer haters.
She’s living her dream, and she’s loving it. She deserves press time, and less negativity. She’s happy doing what she does, and it’s her choice to be in the spotlight. Her parents aren’t forcing her to do anything, because they aren’t needy for cash like some celebrities’ families.
She has a great career so far, and has an even greater one ahead of her. I’m going to support her no matter what. :)
