Following Dad’s Footsteps

There’s nothing like a good last name to help you out in Hollywood. Connor Cruise has one of the best names and it’s helped him get a small, but plum role. Connor, 13, will be appearing in the upcoming Will Smith movie, Seven Pounds. He will play a younger version of Will in the drama. People.com is reporting that Connor had to audition for the role, even though his dad is good friends with the main star. I believe it. I’m sure he had to come in there and read, just for formalities. But let’s be honest here. It definitely helps that your dad is Tom Cruise. With that said, I’m sure he’s going to kick ass in the movie. Hey, you gotta’ support the kids, right?
