Star Jones Files For Divorce

I’m sure a lot of people were expecting this, but it’s still sad for the parties involved (yeah, I’m a softy). According to People.com, Star Jones has filed for divorce from husband Al Reynolds. Star and Al married in 2004. I’m sure you remember all the hoopla she made about her wedding on The View. It was quite a grand affair. Sadly, Star had to make this statement to Entertainment Tonight: “Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts.” If you’re making a statement to ET, I don’t think you should be expecting privacy. Well, best of luck to Star Jones. I’m sure she’s learned her lesson about inviting too much attention into her private affairs.
