The Ugly Sniffles

You remember King Leonidas from ‘300′ dontcha? Well, here he is fighting off some raging sniffles on the set of The Ugly Truth which is shooting here in sunny and smoky Southern California. Everyone’s allergies seem to be acting up because of the raging Sierra Madre fire, which is coating So Cal with ash and smoke for miles in every direction. Or perhaps he’s just been standing too close to Katherine Heigl, who smokes like, well Katherine Heigl (that’s just how much she smokes, I can only compare her to herself). Anyway, here’s the IMDB synopsis of The Ugly Truth:
A romantically challenged morning show producer (Heigl) is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent (Butler) to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result…
Sounds a bit like the Hugh Jackman, Ahsley Judd movie ‘Someone Like You…’ which I confess to having seen a couple times. But only to make a point of course. In that movie, Judd has an underwear scene where she performs a cheer from her high school days. So it makes me wonder what kind of underwear scene we’ll be seeing Katherine do in this flick. Gwen & Kingston Shop The Big ‘K’

So here’s Gwen and Kingston shopping at Kmart yesterday. Kmart? Yes, Kmart. I’ve said it many times before, Gwen and Gavin are some of the coolest, most down to earth celebs I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Check it out for yourselves. Gwen bought little Kingston a slip-n-slide at a Valley Kmart! Remember those from your childhood?! Man, I spent hours and hours with with my brothers on the slip and slide we had. Kingston will have a blast with that thing, especially in this heat we’re going through here in So Cal.

Update: Lionsgate has asked us (super nicely I might add) to remove the Amy Smart pictures. And to be honest, I was happy to do it. I was feeling kinda dirty about posting them to begin with!
I also have to make a few corrections from my previous post.
First, the first Crank movie did pretty well making $44 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo, with a budget of only $12 million. I’ll let you do the math there. So it’s likely the movie has a much higher budget than I might have been led you to believe. Apologies.
Second, the first Crank movie was shot in the same manner as the second one is being shot, on video. Having said that, the camera that director Mark Neveldine is actually shooting with is the awesome Red One camera, which is much more awesome than mine. Apologies.
Lastly, I just rented the first Crank movie, which I’ll be watching later today to see what the hoopla is all about and see for myself the benefit of rollerblading videographers, which I’m told is how they got much of the cool shots in the first Crank movie done.
In conclusion, Amy Smart is hot. I know this. You know this. So I’m sure many of you will be upset to see we pulled the images. But like I always say, Never underestimate the power of a polite request. And I’m looking at you Paramount.

Get it? Rated XX. Pretty clever huh? Not so much? Well, it sounded clever to me but I may just be delusional after almost sweating to death sitting in my car all day to get these pictures for you, so be grateful! It was almost 100 degrees today! Anyway, Crank 2 has begun ‘filming’ today and I use the word ‘filming’ loosely considering they’re capturing this thing on hand held video cameras. I’m not sure what the budget is on this movie is but the camera man was actually rolling around on roller blades taping one of the stunt shots! No, I’m not kidding. I got some video of this stuff too so check back later. At one point, I almost felt like asking the crew if they wanted to borrow my video camera because my camera was probably a bit nicer than the one they were using. No, I’m not kidding. Enjoy more of our girl Amy below. I’ll have more stuff for you later but be warned, this might spoil the movie for you.

Brad Pitt: Crime Pays

OK, maybe he didn’t say it, but the back of his leather rideing jacket says so, so by default, he’s promoting it. Check out the pics below. Now, I’m not saying crime does in fact pay, but Brad, or Bradley as Haydee likes to call him, was sporting a Crime Pays jacket for all the world to see last week. I’ve lost count how many motorcycles this guy has. Sure, he can afford them and all, but seriously, if I had Angelina and all those kids waiting at home for me, I’d probably hire an armored car to chauffeur me around just to be safe.
Britney’s Vocal Lessons

Sorry for the late posts today. We’re a bit under the weather here at the office today. It absolutely sucks being sick in this 90 degree heatwave we’re currently experiencing here in So Cal. Anyway, here’s Britney leaving her singing coach on Saturday. I wonder what that CD sounds like. If that CD fell into the wrong hands, how soon do you think we’d be hearing remixes of her vocal lessons on YouTube? Check out a couple more pics of Britney below.
