They Have Gas Cards Now

It seems that Kate Beckinsale, her hubby and daughter were glad that the paps were following them this weekend. Usually pretty aloof with photographers, the Underworld star needed the paps’ help getting some back-up in Malibu when she ran out of gas. Okay, what’s up with celebrities running out of gas? Pete Wentz had the same trouble a couple of weeks ago (check out Pap 101 for the footage) in the Valley. Why do they drive expensive cars on empty? I know gas prices have climbed up lately, but I’m sure Kate could’ve afforded to fill up her tank before their little excursion. Know what I mean, Vern? It makes no sense. Anyway, a couple of helpful photogs did assist the Beckinsale-Wiseman clan and they went on their way. Let’s hope they got good photos for their trouble.
