Re:title – um, I’m talking about baseball, by the way, and not Madonna. Just saying. Well, ladies and gents, even though Guy Ritchie is now in the same city as his wife and kids, the divorce rumors are still swirling. In fact, they’re getting stronger and getting a tad more interesting. There are tons of stories out now linking the Material Girl to New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod, mind you, is also married and has two children. Us Weekly’s new issue has a huge feature on the Madonna/A-Rod “friendship.” In the article, one source told Us that Alex visited Madonna at her Central Park apartment just one day after his wife gave birth to their second daughter. Yes, very scandalous and just plain wrong. Madonna’s reps are, of course, denying any connection between the two besides having the same manager in Guy O’Seary. Who to believe, who to believe. I’m all for Madge and Guy working things out, so let’s hope this is all hog-wash. But I have a feeling this is just the beginning of more Material Mama drama.
