Update: Angelina Checks Into Hospital

Update: Angie’s not going to be popping anytime soon, according to her doc. This is what he had to say to E! News: “Angelina’s pregnancy has gone very well so far, and she has absolutely no problems at all. But she still has at least two or three weeks to go until she gives birth, and she’ll most certainly be staying in the hospital until after she gives birth.” So there you go. The Angelina baby watch continues.

Is Angelina Jolie about to pop? Well, according to the Associated Press, Angelina checked into a hospital today in southern France as she prepares to give birth to twins. The Lenvin Hospital’s spokesperson, Nadine Bauer, told AP that the actress is doing fine and that everything is going well. She is reportedly staying in the hospital until she gives birth. Some folks in the press incorrectly reported in late May that Angie already gave birth to her twins, so there’s been intense baby watch concerning Angelina since then. The twins will become Angelina and partner Brad Pitt’s fifth and sixth children. I think they’re really trying for a soccer team, as Brad once joked. Asked how she and Brad will handle the growing clan, Angelina recently told Vanity Fair: “His mom and dad are on standby to come out and help. And fortunately we can hire help if we need it, but we’re going to try as we usually do to balance it as well as we can.” And now we wait for the twins to arrive.
