Update: Baby Boy For Matthew

Update: The baby’s name has been revealed – Levi Alves McConaughey. The couple also released this statement for fans: “We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’.” Welcome to the world, Levi.

A big surfer wave congratulations to Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend, Camila Alves, for their new little bundle. Camila gave birth last night to a baby boy, who entered this world weighing in at 7 lbs., 4 oz. The baby’s name has not been released. I wonder if they’ve named the baby yet. I can imagine Matt waiting until the kid can talk to ask him what name he wants for himself. The baby is the first for the couple, who have been dating for two years. Matthew announced Camila’s pregnancy on his website in January and had this to say: “We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father, and sheperding him or her through this life.” Sounds good to me. Congrats to the couple.
