Joel Madden Is Vato Chic

When I was a kid, if my mom saw a guy like Joel Madden in the above and below pictures, she would pull me aside and tell me, “Mijo, stay away from that man. He’s a berry, berry bad man.” But I know better and it’s hard not to laugh at how much disparity there is from how tough Joel looks to how tough he actually is. In actuality, Joel’s as soft as the leather seats in his 2009 Cadillac Escalade. And don’t get me started on his brother! But here he is yesterday, putting the fear into the PA’s on the set of his girlfriend Nicole Richie’s photo shoot yesterday.

Cease Fire: Lindsay vs. Dad

Sad new for Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael Lohan today. Michael’s father, Lindsay’s grandfather, passed away from colon cancer. The only bright side out of this otherwise dark day for the family is that Lindsay has asked for a truce with her father in their recent media dual. If you haven’t been following, Michael went to task calling Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha an addictive drug and a bad influence. Lind’s fired back telling her dad to back the hell up and it escalated with Michael’s signing on for a one hour tell all television show. Now that show’s future is uncertain with the olive branch being extended by Lindsay. Either way, it’s good for business, but sadly not so good for Lindsay’s career.

Shia’s Packing

Check out these pics of Shia LaBeouf from yesterday. You’ll immediately notice that Shia’s hand is starting to look somewhat back to normal, despite the bowling wrist guard. If you look a bit closer, you might notice the knife Shia’s packing in his front jean pocket. I’m not up on my concealed weapon laws but let’s hope Shia is because the last thing he needs is another scandal!

Ashley’s Orange Outing To Neiman’s

So here’s Ashley Tisdale and her cute as a button nose leaving Neiman Marcus. I know she’s gotten lots of heat for her nose but I like it. I can tell you that I don’t think orange is Ashley’s color but I am digging her saddle bag of a purse. It’d be the style of bag I’d be wearing on a walk-about, if I ever went on one.
