Amanda Bynes Does It Right

Remember the story I posted yesterday where I was making fun of Tori Spelling for not looking any different after leaving the Byron Williams Salon in Beverly Hills? Well, we also have some pictures of Amanda Bynes leaving the same salon yesterday looking a bit more ravishing than Tori did. This is how I imagine you’re supposed to look after leaving a Beverly Hills salon.

Kingston Handles The Paparazzi

Check out little Kingston Stefani-Rossdale putting the paparazzi in their places yesterday as he left a Beverly Hills furniture store with his parents Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani. The little tyke demanded the paps move back to make room for Mom and Dad to exit the store. It did take a minute for the paps to give them some room, but the family did eventually get to their car before heading off for dinner at a Beverly Hills restaruant.

Paris Hilton Debuts ‘My BFF’
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Paris Hilton went on the Ryan Seacrest show this morning to debut the first single ‘My BFF’ off her forthcoming album. A decidedly better attempt this time around but still lacking in the all important ‘who really cares’ category. I love Paris. She’s always good for a photo and loves the paps more than any other celeb out there. But Paris, baby please, you don’t have to do this. You’re better served concocting some fabricated scandal when you have a new product coming out. Unfortunately, society won’t allow you to break into music. It just won’t. Even if you have the hottest single from the best producers out there, this is the people’s way of putting you in check. You’ve always been good to us and we love too much to lie.

Nick Jonas Whiptastic

Nick Jonas test drove a suped up classic Mustang around his neighborhood yesterday. From the looks of it, I think he may be the smartest of all the Jonas Brothers. Sure he’s got everything now; the fame, the adoration and the money. Those all have a shelf life when it comes to the the longevity of boy bands. Every once in a while, you’ll get a Justin Timberlake who breaks through but it’s not often. Nick Jonas seems to know even if you take away the fame and fortune, with a ride like that, he’ll still have the adoration.

A P.S.A. From JFX
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008I’m sorry to interupt our normal entertainment business here at JFX Online, but I feel compelled to clear the air about a couple things. But before I do, I want to let you guys know that we have indeed been contacted by many news outlets, photographers and random strangers since the Heat article regarding Adnan Ghalib and the alleged Britney Spears sex tape. Our statements to them usually go something like this: ‘No, Adnan has never worked for JFX and no I can not give you his phone number.’
Here are some examples of how far some are going for information on Adnan. I got a message from a photographer whom I have never spoken to before asking if I still had a certain camera body for sale, which of course, I never did. If I returned that phone call, the subject would have changed quickly to Britney and Adnan. Serg received a message from a freelance reporter saying that she was moving to a new apartment and wanted to get his advice on what part of the city to move to. Again, it’s not about the message, it’s all about trying to get us on the phone to force some quotes out of us. I even had someone posing as a collection agency trying to force Adnan’s contact information out of me. There is a certain UK magazine that calls every week offering a large sum of money for information on Adnan!
I could go on but I think you get the point.
Now this leads me to a couple of E! reporters who called our offices several times to get “contact information” for Adnan. After explaining to them that Adnan has never worked for JFX, E! went ahead with a story stating that JFX was Adnan’s former agency and that we wouldn’t give them his current contact information. So far, no one else has gone so far to make potentially libelously false statements, outside of Heat Magazines, of course, we do appreciate them helping clear the air on the alleged sex tape.
I know it sounds odd to bring up journalistic ethics when referring to entertainment news writers as many of them more than likely haven’t taken many journalism classes. But I have to. I don’t know the E! writers or if they have PhD’s. in Journalism, but given their actions, it’s likely they don’t. Seriously, what’s next? Reporters sleeping with photographers and contacts for information?!?!
We were pretty clear before regarding our friendship with Adnan but I suppose we have to re-visit it once again.
And so here it is, one last time. Adnan Ghalib has never worked for JFX Images or JFX Online. He’s a good friend of all us here at JFX. We celebrate birthdays and special events together and we consider him a good friend. We would never turn our friend over for money or favors.
