Lynne And Britney=All Healed?
In case you haven’t heard, Lynne Spears, mother of Britney Spears, has written a book that’s dropping in stores on Sept. 15. “Through The Storm” recounts from Britney’s early childhood up until her second hospital admittance and People Magazine got an early look at the book. They’ve posted a couple excerpts of the book that reportedly had Britney furious as well as an interview with Lynne. Here’s a couple highlights:
Lynne Spears says that even knowing what she knows now, she would still let her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn pursue stardom. “I think you have to let them follow their dreams. [ ] I think it would be worse in the end if you didn’t.”
She says Britney and Bryan have yet to read it, but “Jamie Lynn loved the book. I started to cry because I told her, ‘I wanted so much for you to like it.’ And she got up and kissed me on the cheek and said, ‘Mama, thank you so much.’”
As for Lynne’s relationship with Britney, she says it “has undergone tremendous healing. [ ] We are back to four or five phone calls a day.” Which I’m having trouble believing if Britney has yet to read the book. Although, despite past parental troubles, Britney may not want to dwell on those day, especially after the way she came out of the VMA’s.

Dont think they will let the kids going through any more drama.
I do belive they have work it out.
They all need each other because “The business”, and the people around celebs and celebs kids, are so terribly unfriendly.

Yes I agree. I hope Brit realizes that she needs her family and not to let anyone come between them again.

Lynne also says, in an interview with People, that Britney and Adnan are NOT together.

I do plan on picking up a copy of this book upon release. Anyone else going to grab it?

Thats too bad small hands. KLM too plan on picking up a copy. Sure would be nice for some of us to share a copy and all of us not have to go out and buy it. I guess there is no way for that to happen.

I hear there is a new pap101 in the works. Be looking for it. It will be Uli & Serg in this one. I can’t wait since I’ve never seen a pic of Serg smiling or laughing. There is no way he can not smile or laugh if Uli is cutting up as usual.

I pre-ordered it for my mom as part of an early b-day present. She didn’t know what to think about that. I told her it would be a good distraction from Dad.
I am glad I ordered it. Mom had read and believed the misinformation that the “The Sun” pushed. She believed it because it was in her local newspaper. I don’t know if the source was included in the “local” news.
Mom had been good and mad at both Britney and her mom. “At 13? How ridiculous. And what about her mother, SAYING those things?” I told her TMZ, a more reputable agency, had contradicted The Sun’s report.
Hey, it was five minutes of not hearing, “… your father has been a pill all day,” and things over which I have no solution. I dutifully listen then briefly change the subject perhaps to school, or a whole other world of paparazzi, the media, heroes and shadow players. Hell yes I bought the book.

small, you and I must have read different articles. Lynne did not make any statement about Adnan in the article posted yesterday.

Well Amethyst, I did read it at a fan forum and no one likes Adnan there. But apparently it was printed in the magazine.
And I’m not buying the book. If it was Britney writing about herself, then I would.

Hi, small, I left you a message of credit on the newest Brit thread. I did see it later in a mag but not the initial people.com ‘kay?
