UPDATE: DJ AM And Travis Barker: Critical Condition After Plane Crash

UPDATE: Reports have been coming in all weekend from the hospital where Travis Barker and DJ AM are recuperating after surviving a plane crash in South Carolina. DJ AM is reported to have received second and third degree burns over 12% of his body, mainly on his arm and head. AM’s ex girlfriend Mandy Moore has flown in to be at his side while he recovers. Travis also received second and third degree burns over his torso. Doctors expect them to both make full recoveries. The cause of the accident is said to be a blown tire.

Travis Barker and DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, are both in stable but critical condition after a plane crash in South Carolina. Two passengers and two crew members were killed in the crash. One of the victims was Travis Barker’s 29 year old assistant Chris Baker who also appeared on the reality show, Meet The Barkers. DJ AM, who was formerly engaged to Nicole Richie, reportedly has suffered burns to his face and body and was airlifted to a local burn center. Barker was reportedly burned from his waist down but was transported by ambulance from the scene. Both recently performed DJ duties at MTV’s Video Music Award show earlier this month. There have been reports that both DJ AM and Travis lept from the burning plane immediately after the plane crashed into an embankment.
