Brit’s Lawyer Rejects Plea
An attorney for Britney Spears rejected a plea offer from city prosecutors that would have Britney serve probation for one year and pay a $150 fine in the misdemeanor driving without a license case. Brit’s attorney J. Michael Flanagan said that he’d consider an offer that would reduce the charge to an infraction and a $10 fine, charging that Britney is being unfairly treated because she is a celebrity. The charges stem from the 2007 incident where Britney essentially hit-and-run a parked car in Hollywood.
Check out the pictures from the incident.

She asked the paps, “What should I do?” The paps helped to get her situated … I guess she thought it was over? The paps back then looked out for her. Those were the days when she felt safe with the paps and could walk fairly free amongst them, much of the time. That is how it seemed.
The other car didn’t appear to be hurt, at first glance. It wasn’t hurt much at a more studied glance.
I do believe the judge and prosecutor are making more of a case out of it than necessary.

Of course they are. They do not want to look like they are letting the celebs go free when actually they are being harder on them than they should. Good grief. Leave her alone.
