Ellen Puts Her Money Where Her Mouth Is

Ellen DeGeneres has been very outspoken about her opposition to California’s Proposition 8, which would ban gay marriage in the state. This obviously strikes close to home since she recently wed actress Portia de Rossi (seen with Ellen here on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills). Now she’s gotten really serious by donating $100,000 of her own cash to defeat this proposition. She’s also recorded a PSA and talks about the issue frequently on her show. Demo candidate for VP Joe Biden will appear on Monday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show” to take a stand against the proposition. Good for Ellen—stand up for what you believe in!

I early voted as I could in Arizona, in favor of same sex marriage. I think the ballot was for a proposition that would eliminate a judge from “allowing” same sex marriage.

I should have said, the ballot is for .. there wasn’t any “thinking” about what I voted on.

I already did Doc, just not yes for the proposition proposed that would eliminate the possibility of an overthrow by a judge.
Otherwise, it was the same old, “A marriage is… between a man and woman….”
The new wording was alot the same. “A marriage is….between a man and a woman….”
The “correct” answer was NO, to the proposition.
