We had our class reunion Saturday night and we had a photog there walking around taking pics. Everytime I saw him at different angles taking pictures of people that were unaware I thought of all you guys.

After the surprising news today that Britney Spears’ trial on misdemeanor traffic charges had ended in a mistrial because the jury could not come to a unanimous decision, OK! spoke to the pop superstar’s lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, to find out why his client never took the stand in her own defense.
Flanagan told OK! that he had gone to Britney’s house on Oct. 13, only days before the trial began, to discuss the case with her and attempt to convince the singer to testify in court. However, he revealed, “She is not very strong. She is still very fragile. I had to explain thing to her.”
“I said, look, if Britney testifies, we have a 90% percent chance of winning. If Jamie comes in, we have a 50/50 chance,” Flanagan recalled. “But she refused. She said ‘I can’t face all those people. I don’t want to deal with all the people.’”
Flanagan then revealed that Jamie pulled him aside later. “He said, ‘If you need Britney to win, I can get her to testify.’ But a few days later, Jamie called and said ‘Britney’s not going to testify. She can’t do it.”
Brit’s attorney also confirmed that he was the one to give the good news to Jamie Spears about the mistrial and that Jamie’s reaction was, not surprisingly, “ecstatic”.

Why would they hide a relationship?
It doesn’t make any sense. Not everyone liked him back when she was incredibly ill, but he was still able to see her until mid-April.
There was no reason to stop seeing her unless her dad thought he wasn’t a good person to be around her or they broke up.
He could’ve just kept seeing her and people would’ve started to like him as she got better. People disliked him mostly because he was seen as someone who was making her sick. Her getting better with him being seen by her side would’ve cleared that up.
There probably will be new pics of Adnan because he’s probably already called up people from JFX or TMZ to tip ‘em off on where he’ll be in the next couple days so they can ask him about Britney wearing the ring for TWO days this month.
I think she just liked the ring, tbh.
There’s no upside for either of them when it comes to hiding a relationship.
IF she’s seen with him again, EVER, the press will go ape on her and say the conservatorship didn’t work and that she is still sick, etc, reverting back to old days.
And his negatives would be bigger than President Bush’s.

well, she does wear them a lot. I wear my shoes a lot too … but If I were a celeb with photogs around me all the time, I would probably make note to change things up .. among other things.

I don’t mind the shoes. She’s not a “tall” girl, I think she’s 5′4″ — so height, comfort in a broken in pair of shoes that she also shares as an ADNAN memory — he came to her rescue.
oh the devil with Sam. I love the shoes. They look like high quality leather and I wonder how Brit hasn’t scuffed the heels. I also have wondered sometime how much dance-video she will do in heels so… may as well wear them around.

It’s a simple google KLM but she went to Streisand first (see Grossman, Sam, and Sands, all in violation of the conservatorship).
Eardsley came in later, challenging court jurisdiction and trying to escalate it to a higher court. Call it the Twinkie Defense.

MH, I am rusty. I know she went home at some point and changed her clothes? Then she was out on L.A. freeways, “roaming around” but I think more than likely wearing out the clock of time until Adnan could meet her at the hotel.
They pair did not go back to Britney’s house until there was interference (police and Papa Spears I think) at the hotel.
I find it fascinating that the hotel was safer for Spears than home. What are your thoughts on this? Ama has told me before that of course Britney went to the hotels: Sam was not there, in the hotels.
Love the brown shoes. What brand are they? They are nice and Doc I know you know how I mean that.

I think she knew the Conservatorship was coming down, and that she was about to loose all access to her own money.
Even today (I believe) she still is only given something like $1,500 a week (or is it a month?) for spending money. She has absolutely no power over her own finances, as long as the Conservatorship is in place.

Steel, the conservatorship coming down? It was already in place. But I think she was text messaging with Sam (he violated his restraining order) and Grossman. Grossman arranged for both the car and the meeting with Streisand?
Who was it that wanted Northern Trust as co-conservator? The planned co-conservators, as reaction to Papa Spears, were Northern Trust Bank and Howard Grossman?

I do know that I won’t be buying Brit’s new album or buying any concert tickets until the Conservatorship is lifted. It’ll be my own one-woman protest!
I want her to do well and all, but come on. How can you be “gravely disabled” yet still be doing live performances on television?
Time for her to step out on her own.

There are side effects who can be permanent.

And lucky for Briney there was a man who care for her, and made the right thing. Adnan.
But as usual, people are more concerned about the money.
Britney will work and get more money so people can fight to take them from her again.
This time it will be harder, because she will fight back. She have two wonderful boys. And she will do the best for them.

I did lay out near the pool one day, but spent the rest of the time adventuring. I’d never been there before, so I tried to check out all the hotels, etc.
And I DID see you spent some time with Adnan, but I haven’t had a chance to go back and read the whole thread.

I think the c-ship is a legal way to keep all the vultures away from her. Its all about the legal system and making sure she is ready. I think she is making choices on her own but the system in place makes Jamie sign off on them. This way if she does screw up then he can catch it before it goes too far. She may be scared to try alone again even though she is stronger now and has a good system in place. Its a scary place out there. Being as big a star as she is just makes it worse be because everything gets blown out of porportion

Why do people only show up when there is a story about our guy. We do not hear from them unless it is to bash them. We will not change our minds on the subject so why even waste their time coming out to bash him.
Now Rose on the other hand is a nice addition to our little group. Maybe Rose needs to fill us in on herself a little. Most of us have told some small things like what part of the world we are from or what time zone we are in. I like our little family here – jfx men and women included.
