Jennifer Hudson’s Mother Shot To Death

“Dreamgirls” star Jennifer Hudson was faced with tragic news today when her mother Darnell Donerson was found dead from gunshot wounds in her South Chicago home. a male body was also found at the site believed to be Hudson’s older brother Jason Hudson. Police are investigating information provided by neighbors that Hudson’s sister Julia was having problems with her husband and that the shootings could be a result of domestic violence. Donerson was reportedly baby-sitting for Julia’s son Julian KIng, who is missing and the subject of an Amber Alert. The child may have been abducted by a man the police consider to be armed and dangerous and is on parole for crimes including attempted murder. This is especially sad because Hudson has spoken often about how close he is to her family and how much their support has meant to her.
