Lauer Gets Roasted By Cruise

Tom Cruise took some heat for his 2005 interview with Matt Lauer where he called the “Today” co-host  ”glib” and took issue with his views on the value of psychiatric treatment. Cruise returned the favor at the Friar’s Club of New York roast of the anchorman, where his gibes brought laughs from the crowd. Tom joked that Matt had advised him before his appearance on “Oprah,” “When people come on my show, I don’t want them talking about their dopey movie. Tom, don’t be glib. You are in love. Talk about (Katie). People will love you for it.” Well, at least now we know Tom does have a sense of humor.
