Britney Spears was a big winner at tonight’s MTV Europe Awards in Liverpool, England, taking home trophies for Act of the Year 2008 and Album of the Year. Brit didn’t attend the show—she’s back in L.A., hopefully getting ready for her rumored appearance with Justin Timberlake at Madonna’s Dodger Stadium concert.

Don’t know her track record at the EMAs, but I’m happy for her.
I know the VMAs gypped her BIG time until this yr. How do you go nearly 10 yrs without winninga a moonman?
Am I the only one who thinks that with Britney’s “fall” she became human in many people’s eyes? I became a fan a little before I’m a Slave 4 U was released. I’ve always thought she was a sweet girl, BUT I also always thought it would all come crumbling down around her. I thought,for yrs, she was “overworked” and she would eventually break. Never imagined it would be like this.
