Lance Bass Gets Mobbed By Protest Marchers

Openly gay Lance Bass got a surprise last night as he was driving home from taping “Dancing with the Stars.” After surviving for one more week, he was heading down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood when he was confronted by thousands of marchers protesting California’s Proposition 8, which rescinded the rights of gay couples to marry. An eyewitness told F!:

“He drove by, rolled down his window, and started honking his horn to start shouting with the crowd. The minute he did that, he got swarmed by people wanting a handshake or a picture.”

Celebs showing up at the march (rather than being ambushed by it) included Wanda Sykes, Ricki Lake, Rose McGowan and Stacy Keibler.
