Will Fans Give Brit Another Chance?

2008 has certainly been a better year for Britney Spears than 2007—she’s had a hit single, won several MTV awards and is  getting to spend more time with her kids. But will her upcoming album “Circus” give Brit the kind of comeback Mariah Carey pulled off a few years ago? Opinions in the industry are mixed. Ellen Carpenter of Spin magazine stated:

“You can only have so many second chances and this is definitely one of those now or never moments. Last year, it didn’t seem like she would ever come out of it. Her falling apart was bigger than anybody, even Michael Jackson. I don’t know if anyone in pop music has fallen that low and come back. “

The album comes out December 2 and only then will we know whether Brit’s fans have remained loyal and eager to welcome her back.
