Fansite JohnnyDepp.org has just leaked the first photo of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in the upcoming film “Alice in Wonderland.” Tim Burton is directing the film, which also stars Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen and Helena Bonham Carter. The film’s official release date is March 5, 2010.

WOW!! Cant WAIT to see this film! Looks suitably bonkers! Have just been re-reading Alice in Wonderland, re-visiting my youth! I hope its more like the book and less ‘Disney’ although with Tim Burton, I can almoust guess it will be suitably dark and BRILLIANT!!!
