Britney’s Traveling “Circus”
Britney Spears is taking her act on the road for the first time in five years. Today on “Good Morning America,” Spears celebrated her 27th birthday by announcing a 27-city jaunt, The Circus Starring Britney Spears 2009 Tour, that will begin on March 3 in New Orleans with guests the Pussycat Dolls and conclude the North American leg in Chicago on April 28. Dates are also scheduled for London on June 3 and 4.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, Dec. 6. For more information, click here.

Yes I agree. It is a traveling Circus. Robot/puppet is singing and dancing and pops/Larry get all the fame for bringing her back. She seems to be in jail and she is singing and dancing for food. Oh look they let her see the kids. Geez. Let her out of jail. Let her talk to and love whoever she wants.

AM, thanks for posting the la times blog here. I’ve been a fan of Britney’s since the “Britney” era, so I’ve read tons of news about her over the years.
Ultimately, I want her to be happy and regain custody of her kids. A CD is fine, but the other stuff I find more important.
As that showbiz transcript implied, it does seem like Britney is a commodity to many of the people around her. So I don’t know how much to believe in her performances/CD/tours…is it really what she wants to do OR is it more of an escape–a place/space she can be a bit free. I will always be a fan. And I will be purchasing her CD. I will support her.
As for Kevin, I hate his timing.

I’m sure Kevins timing was well thought out. Now that she has press he had to cash in also. After giving his side of the story he will probably have interviews etc so he will make more and more money off Brit as always.
