K-Fed Tells His Side
Using his ex-wife’s comeback to get media attention, Britney Spears’ baby daddy Kevin Federline is on the cover of the new People trying to convince us that he’s Father of the Year. He said about getting custody of the boys:
“My first question to [my lawyer] was, “Am I ever going to be able to see my children?” I told him that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That’s all that mattered. I didn’t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me.”
And he tells about the night Britney was taken to the hospital after locking herself in the bathroom with son Jayden:
“That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her ‘cause I care about her. That’s the mother of my children. Just because I’m not in love with her doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. I’m definitely rooting for her. There’s nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.”
Of course you do, since she’s your meal ticket.

I read over at BH that he also said “he was blindsided” and that “she didn’t talk to him or anything”—-well Kevin, it’s kind of hard to talk to someone who is never there. And he did admit he was looking out for her kids more than Britney when he was married. Sounds like he is admitting she became less important in his life.
They also mentioned him being a father to two other kids….as an afterthought of course

Oh gross. His side of the story. We all know his side and that is take the kids so he no longer has to work. He is assured enough money to live off of as long as he has custody. I agree small- he would spend all of Brits money to get the kids. I dont remember him paying for any of the proceedings.

i remember judge ordering him to pay a certain percentage, lesser percentage. the reason he didn’t have to pay it all at that time was because much of the court time and many extra proceedings had to do with brits issues that spilled over into normal stuff.
the guy has earned more money this year than prob any one who posts here has. i know, i know on her name right. if he makes money doing appearances people say he does it on her name. if he doesn’t do them they say he doesn’t work. the guy can’t win.

I think Kevin has done a great job taking care of his boys with no drama involved. Britney should be grateful and thanking him, instead she makes statements to the press about wanting to find a father figure for her boys. What a slap in the face to Kevin. He has not said anything bad about her during this whole ordeal, and even now after her thoughtless comments he still only has good things to say about her. I’m glad Britney seems to be much healthier but she still has a long way to go with her attitude and maturity.

I’m still Team A & B – together or separate. I’m not team kfed. I think on some levels he got a bumrap as I’m sure it is hard to be Mr Britney Spears and be judged like that. I wouldn’t want it for myself. Even though it was pointed out that he had to pay some of the attorney fee no one ever answered was it his money that he made or brits money he gets for child support that he used. Also how is he paying child support for the other two kids? Where is the money coming from if it is not from Brit? As far as I know he is not working.

G. MH pointed out some places he has worked.
Albeit from the outside it looked like he went to the job (bar) site, was photographed, then went inside.
I think his life has been suspended though. I am not trying to be snarky but Kaplan was free about talking about building his image.
How come K-Fed is not working out? Depression? Hiding? Guilt? I am trying not to accuse him but something isn’t right in his life and its having an effect on his stomach.

some dont work if they dont have to and since he gets his money from his exwife I guess he doesnt have to work. Sitting at home and just chasing kids all day is how many women get overweight. It also happens at the office just sitting in a chair. He needs to be retraining for backup dancing or something. He can’t rap/sing so maybe go back to the dancing. Burn calories or something.

He is a prisioner also in a way. Even though we do not see the pics of him all the time I would think it is hard to go anywhere that people do not know who you are. Can not go to clubs to party because someone will take the pictures and put them on the web. So yes I have some compassion but not alot.

Does he deserve it? Yeh. If he put her through that pain and he was out there as much as was previously documented by X, TMZ, and others yeh.
The punishment did fit the crime but I don’t think he should have to pay forever either.

A smart friend reminded me today that the divorce agreement stated that the kids can’t be photographed unless both K-Fed and Brit agree to it. But there Kev is on the cover of People, with the boys.

No kfed has not run his mouth on some things he probably could have. Kaplan did keep him in line. I do agree that it is too dangerous for her to drive with the kids. I do agree that the kids did not need to be around Sam. I didn’t like that she could not see them but I think Sam did that. Some of the things kfed got blamed for might have been for the best since Sam was there and telling her things. I think he is the reason she locked herself in the bathroom that night. So I blame Sam for the boys being taken away

Wearing and exposing your toes as a man in my opinion is a lil on the sweet side. Guys should have unkept horrific looking toes and toenails. I think a man that tends to his feet is not cool. They should remain crusty, dry, and only clipped, not filed, on an ‘as needed’ basis.

AM, my Mom is a good reminder of what the “general public” thinks about this stuff. She’s the kind of person who LOVES talking Hollywood Gossip, but takes everything at face value. She sees the “image” that is put out there, but doesn’t consider everything that went into creating the TV show she is watching or the National Enquirer she is reading.
Okay, wait, she questions the National Enquirer. Thank goodness.
I also have a couple of friends who love talking Hollywood Gossip, and they’re pretty good at picking up on things. Those are the folks that, e.g. I went to school with, who went on to become editors on the nightly entertainment shows or producers on news channels. Or worked in the business at one time or another in some capacity.
But I have become the Britney expert of the bunch…I gotta fess up to that one.

I feel bad some of the news she gets and the news she doesn’t get but unbeknownst to me she’s been ciphering through much of the news anyway?
So bizarre in the early days to learn Mom cared. Knew more about Britney Spears than I, e.g., who she married. lol I didn’t know early on that she hadn’t married Federline but Mom did.
And then there is Mom’s fabulous education.
We were not a rich family so we didn’t have excesses like tabloid magazines. That’s funny to write that. I wonder how many people can’t afford them but spend the money to feel better. (I’ve become cynical of those who purchase with regularity).
However, we had a cabin out in Idaho. In it were “tabloid” magazines from the 1950s or even 1940s. Mom never threw them out. They were so interesting between toothepaste ads and impossibly white teeth and dark fingernails.
Even as a kid I recognized these as image. It wasn’t that I was that smart it’s just no one that I knew looked like that and yet they were pretty people?
I was also too young to understand this obsession for flawless skin, white teeth and so on.
There was zero mention about weight back then, just looks. And lots of cigarette ads.
Here is the “weirdity” of it. Those pictures were so intact that it took me being an adult to look at younger pictures of my mom and see that she was Hollywood all the way. What I mean is she was beautiful. I never thought in terms of pretty or beautiful growing up — I just like looking at her or touching or smelling her.
When I look back now I see through socialization or whatever, f — she was beautiful. Nobody has her hair. Blue black.
And Mom was talented. Funny I grew up knowing she was smart and versatile, over that.
Now I am in this weird little world of Britney, tabloids, bidding, image, and so on. How stunned I was to know my mother knew any of those things and that she believed in Britney Spears, or had an opinion. “I knew something was wrong. She was acting so crazy.”

WHY can’t they gathering this family court and doctors (?) and all that´s needed, and give give the family (even if divorced) a change???
This is not good for Kevin Federline, the two kids, or Britney Spears.

It´s one thing to love ones grandchilds, on other thing is to forget who is the REAL parents of thouse kids..
Have said bad things about K Fed, but obviously he not feeling good either, so why dont the family court or what ever it is, dont help the real parents of the kids

Britney work, and he just have to look good in court… That’s the history until now.
