Paula Blames “Idol” Producers

“American Idol” judge Paula Abdul is angry with the show’s producers for allowing her stalker to appear on the show. In a Sirius XM radio interview with Barbara Walters last night, Abdul claims she begged the producers not to let Paula Goodspeed audition for season five of the show.
“She had been writing disturbing letters for 17 years, almost 18 years. We had restraining orders at times.”
Goodspeed continued to stalk, harass and threaten the performer until she committed suicide last month in a car parked outside Abdul’s home—a home she now refuses to enter.
When asked why she continued on the show after the incident, Abdul answered, “Well, I’m under contract.”
It’s always been obvious that “Idol” will do anything for ratings but now we know how low they’ve gone. Maybe next season they can have a rejected wanna-be shoot himself in the waiting room.
