Jen Beats Brad – At The Box Office

It looks like those umpteen magazine covers and talk show interviews paid off. Jennifer Aniston is queen of the Christmas box office this year, as her film “Marley & Me,” which co-stars Owen Wilson, opened with $14.5 million. Exhibitor Relations cites this as a new record for a Christmas Day opening. Jen’s ex Brad Pitt scored $11.8 million with “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Tanking as predicted was the much-hyped Tom Cruise film “Valkyrie” with $8.5 million. Which proves moviegoers don’t want Nazis for Christmas.
