Eva Dumps The Frump

Eva Longoria Parker graces the cover of the new issue of Glamour and dishes on her marriage, her character, her costars and her husband, basketball star Tony Parker.

She says she loves the other gals on “Desperate Housewives.” “The women on the show are dear friends of mine. It’s been such a gift for me to be in their presence and learn not only from their acting abilities but from their life experiences.”

She and her hubby take turns doting on each other. “But there are times when Tony takes care of me—in an emotional sense, like, OK, let me take the reins on this one. But I love to take care of him. I’m really a very fifties housewife. Yes, I love having dinner ready and making sure his clothes are ironed and that he’s packed and ready when he goes on road trips.

She admires the new First Lady. “Michelle is going to be an amazing First Lady: She’s intelligent, capable and motivated. She just embodies everything that an American woman should represent.”

The major shocker is what we can expect from Gabrielle Solis when “Housewives” comes back in January. Poor Gaby has gone from glam model to frumpy mommy this season but Eva reports, “When this article comes out, Gabrielle will be glam again.”

That’s something to look forward to for the new year!
