Miley Gives Fan A New Year’s Surprise

It will be several more years before Miley Cyrus is old enough to bring in the New Year in a nightclub, but tonight she’ll be celebrating in a very teen-appropriate venue—a high school gym. The Disney star and her crew will be rocking live from the stage of Beckman High School in Irvine, CA in honor of a student’s good works which won a contest sponsored by MTV. Beckman High senior Alison Kaprielian was chosen the winner of the Cyrus concert because of her efforts for the Pink Ribbon Club for breast-cancer awareness. Miley and BFF Mandy Jiroux surprised Kaprielian at her home yesterday and spent the day with her. The concert will be part of MTV’s New Year’s Eve broadcast tonight.
