Heather Beats DUI Charge

Heather Locklear can start 2009 with a fresh start since her DUI case has been dismissed. TMZ reports that  Locklear’s legal eagle Blair Berk appeared in Santa Barbara court this morning to have the actress plead no contest to reckless driving, a misdemeanor. The “Melrose Place” star got off with three years informal probation, a $700 fine, and a 12-hour drug education course.

I hope this will be a wake-up call for Heather—she might not get off as easy next time.
