Gwynnie Comes Clean
Just in time to offer her advice to those of us who pigged out over the holidays, actress Gwyneth Paltrow shared her New Year’s cleansing regime in her GOOP newsletter. Her plan is to start the year with a diet-and-detox program that will cleanse the system by eating berries and shakes and other healthy organic stuff like that. She also includes yummy recipes for Broccoli and Arugula Soup, Cucumber, Lime and Basil Juice and Miso Soup with Watercress. Gwynnie also recommends:
“If your bowel movements get sluggish, you can accelerate things by drinking half a cup of castor oil or using a mild herbal laxative. Bowel elimination is paramount for correct detoxification.”
Just reading all that makes me want to order a pepperoni pizza and a cold beer.
