Hudson Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

AP reports that William Balfour, the man accused of the Chicago murders of three members of actress/singer Jennifer Hudson’s family, has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and home invasion. Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson’s sister, Julia Hudson, is being held without bail and due back in court Jan. 27.

Jennifer Hudson has not worked since the tragedy but is expected to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl and appear on the Grammys.
