Pete Blogs On Obama

When he’s not writing songs or coming up with funny baby names, rocker Pete Wentz is quite the activist. He’s proud of his involvement in the campaign to elect President Obama and gives his thoughts on the Prez in his blog on The Huffington Post titled “No Longer the Underdog.” 

Pete says of Obama, “He’s an underdog, which is something I can relate to.” He also states, “Underdogs are the ones who are hungry, who will transcend convention and will break barriers. Just when it’s at its worst… it gets better. As long as he just keeps up the pace he has so far, I have a feeling we will keep rooting for him.”

Sounds good to me. It’s nice to see an Emo guy talking about something positive for a change.
