Britney Gets Restraining Order
TMZ is reporting that Britney Spears’ conservators obtained a restraining order against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib this morning. Adnan is pictured with Britney in this photo from last year. The TMZ report claims “Britney asked her conservators to ‘protect her from Sam and Adnan.’ We’ve also learned Britney told her conservators she was afraid of them both and hoped they could be locked up in jail.”
A source told TMZ ”Lutfi and Ghalib conspired to try and undermine Britney’s conservatorship in a way that would have been extremely harmful to her.”
There’s bound to be more than one side to this story and more info coming but that’s all that’s available right now.

well this is total BS. If they conspired to do anything it was to free Brit. This is just another power play by pops to have total control and all of Brits money. I always felt that Britney and Adnan kept in touch. I liked them as a couple. I don’t think Adnan was involved with Sam and the attorney. But at the same time I don’t want to support someone who would cause harm to Britney. I think another Q&A with Adnan would clear up a lot of misinformation.

TMZ are only journalists when the cops get in their way, and to assert their access, “We’re journalists. Here are our press passes.”
AP wouldn’t pay a dime for intel, not that we know. AP writing untruths would be against a journalist’s code. TMZ is not sworn in such manner. TMZ does not have to fact check. TMZ can influence opinion, offer opinion, sway the public as they might.

By putting them all together and using TMZ it seems they are gearing up for court. They let TMZ put all the crap out there and then show it in court just like they did with the custody trial. They used TMZ and other coverage to take her kids. They need to give her the kids back and also free her. Pops just doesn’t want to let go of his control. OK wow…..I have been waiting so long for news about Adnan and Britney and THIS crap is what I get! That sucks! Anyway….my thoughts for what they are worth are….
as someone said before…why is X17 being so nice to ADNAN? That smells fishy fishy…
now what x17 said is right though….here is how i see it going down. yes i think sam lutfi has been trying to get back into brit’s life but not is cohoots with adnan or the lawyer. i believe that brit and adnan have continued to remain in contact and that if she has leaked where she is going to be it was only so she might get a chance to see him. there are hardly ever any new pics of her these days so he can’t be doing a very good job of leaking her whereabouts. i think she is trying anything she can to get out of the C-ship and if that meant letting sam back in for just enough time to help her or throw daddy of adnan’s trail then she would do it. i think that she was meeting with lawyers in secret with the help of adnan and possibly sam. that is why she is going to request a new attorney. i think daddy found out about that and demanded to know how she managed this. he found out it was sam and adnan and HE filed the restraining order. she couldn’t file a restraining order if she wanted to. she is not a conservatee….she is a prisoner and her captors are operating in enormous circles of power. everyone around her has her right where they want her to make her do what they want her to do. the threat of time with her children is their way of controlling her.
don’t think for a second that daddy didn’t use some big time tactics to get that info from her and then tell her she better go along with the way he is presenting it or she would never see those kids again. her father should be effing ashamed of himself. i gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time but now i can see right through the whole damn thing.
this cannot be legal and happen to someone right in front of the whole world and no one do anything to help her!! why hasn’t someone done something. what about the ACLU? isn’t there something they can do?

Lynn didn’t go to Brits house because of Adnan. She went with Jaime after she heard about the fight with Sam. Adnan only told her about the dog and phone. She swore on that. The only thing I have found so far is that permanent conservatorships are extremely difficult to get. I mean it sounds to me like the person has to damn near be slobbering and talking to the voices to get put in one of these things or…..they have to agree to it. The only way that would happen is if she was coerced. And since Daddy and KFed are such buddies, they can get her to do anything they want. So, the answer lies it proving that Britney is capable of not only caring for herself, her assets, her career, and maybe even her mental illness if she has one but her children as well.
Didn’t Wasser handle her divorce and began her custody case? Then Wasser bailed because Brit started acting up? Now Wasser may be the one Britney has been secretly meeting. For some reason…I can see Wasser standing up to Kfed and Papa Spears. Now as far as standing up to Larry….I don’t know. Without her….he is set to lose quite a bit of money.
I feel like we are in another era of leeching. First it was Sam and now it is this new group. Like Adnan said, the tryth has a way of coming out. I hate to think that a Dad would betray his daughter like this but maybe somewhere in his mind he thinks it is for her own good and he is doing the right thing.

AM….the good cause hearing is the 23rd. This is where they have to PROVE in court that a real danger exists if Adnan is to have contact with Britney. Sounds like by then she may have a new attorney…..I hope. This is just a temporary restraining order. Now they really have to prove their case. Honestly, it looks weak to me but so does the C-ship so I don’t know….my experience with TRO hearings and permanent RO hearings is with domestic violence and sexual assault victims so this is something way out of my league.

Like missT I too had been hoping for positive BritNan news. But instead we get this. I’ve been trying to do research on my own to help Britney out of this crap sandwich she’s in the middle of. Sadly, there’s nothing that I, myself, can do. C-ships aren’t easy to get out of. Especially if you’re very wealthy. There are alternative options. The c-ship can be modified so that the conservatorship of Britney/person can terminate, but continue the conservatorship over her estate. She can also petition to have her dad removed and replaced if she’s not feeling that he’s fit for the job(problems with alcohol or substance abuse) and is acting without her best interests in mind. Or, she can petition to end the whole damn thing. Her case would be heard by a judge or jury trial. The thing is Britney can only petition to end/modify the c-ship once every 6 months. What if her petition repeatedly gets denied? Back to square one. And her doctors all have to agree to it and Britney must proove she isn’t gravely disabled. It’ll be a major battle for many years. I’ve yet to come across a person who’s been able to get their c-ship terminated completely. I wish I could. Maybe Britney could be the first to do so.

AM, are you talking about the restraining order? Here is what happened: Daddy got his paperwork all together and filed for a temporary restraining order and presented it to the judge. the judge reads it and decides if there is a perponderance of evidence (meaning it is more likely than not that something will happen to her at the hands of these people) to suggest that Brit is in danger from these individuals. They cited emotional harm in their motion. The judge granted the temporary restraining order without hearing sam or adnan’s or the attorney’s side or defense. So, now Sam, Adnan, and the attorney will have their day in court to defenf themselves against the allegations. The TRO says this good cause (good cause to continue the restraining order) is on 2/23/09. Does that make sense now? Oh and of course the judge would order the TRO because if something happened and he had denied it, he is then liable and who wants to be liable for anything when this kind of money is at stake?

I’m not watching FTR again. I hated it the first time around, except for the few real emotions Britney had. But I do remember that scene when they were talking. My opinion after that scene, she looked pissed. To me she seemed to realize they weren’t really her friends, especially when they dismissed/laughed at her wanting family…can’t remember the exact quote, but it had to do with getting married or having kids, etc..

I thought it was very interesting that he used the word “CIRCUS” in his letter. He certainly sounds like he could do some good. I loved the part about there being nothing wrong with her and that she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I don’t know if there is anyway he can help her now but I sure wish he could come through on all those promises. I think a lot of “stuff” is about to hit the fan!!

I’ve said all along that kfed and pops are in this together. It seems they worked a plan out at the family BBQ and now Kfats attorneys dont like it and will want more money to work one out that they agree with. Meantime throw everyone off by having the TRO out there and people talking about that. Even if Sam has been talking to her and has been trying to help her get out, by adding Adnan into the mix it keeps him from swooping in and helping her. We all have seen him ride to her rescue several times and pops doesn’t seem to like that. I know some people say he is back with the wife but if I remember right they were living together when Brit and Adnan got together. He has said several times they were in the same house but not together. Could be the same now. Yes it is possible even though most people do not think so. I’ve heard all about the tape that never happened. I heard all about the money he makes off the photo ops but there are not that many pics these days so that is not happening and I’ve heard all about the other ways he has used her to make money. I agree Cloud. She can say NO!. Boys come first. The only way pops knows how to control her is through the boys and in doing that he must silence Adnan. He knows that Adnan will jump through hoops for her. He has already shown that. So to control her he must put the RO against him and the only way to do that is trying to show that Adnan is in with Sam. Well we all know thats not true. UPDATE: 11:27 AM ET Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed’s lawyer, says neither he nor Kevin want to interfere with Brit’s career. He says it could have been handled better if Jamie and company would have “manned up” and had Kevin got the benefit of his lawyers to protect his position. Kaplan says he’s going to present his own wording of the deal, but thinks they’ll work it out.

Hmmmmm……tension between Daddy and Kaplan now. How does Kaplan have a hold on K-Fed or does he? It is supposed to be his attorney not his boss! Maybe K-Fed is afraid of Daddy and said he would go along with it but really wanted to get counsel first. Kaplan gets money this way and K-Fed will probably get MORE money with Kaplan working on this “agreement”. Everybody has their hand in the cookie jar! Looks like K-Fed didn’t want to stand up to Daddy though. I promise you this though…..this is all a game for our girl to keep the money maching going. Nosey. As to the AZLynne story? I thought no notice was needed, no serving of papers required in this matter.
This was due to Geraldine’s statement regarding the “disappearance” of Mr. Ghalib and Mr. Lutfi; both are intentionally avoiding direct contact with Mr. Spears or Mr. Spears’ security; the inability (per Geraldine) to confirm good phones or addresses; Mr. Lutfi’s past six weeks disappearance (the first TRO), and that either Mr. Ghalib or Mr. Lutfi might deprive this court’s jurisdiction or take other actions involving Ms. Spears that could be harmful to her.
This is all due to what Geraldine “believes and is informed of.” Shes goes on what she believes about Mr. Eardsley and her belief about Mr. Ghalib.
So the TROs were issued and are in effect without notice. Correct?

gigi…I’ve always felt the same about Kfed and Papa Spears being in cahoots. My memory recalls a meeting, back in 2007, between Kaplan, Kevin, Ma & Pa Spears @ Kevin’s house…I’ve always wondered what went on during that meeting AND what info her parents gave to Kaplan. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve often wondered if that’s when a plan started to form about a c-ship. It wouldn’t surprise me at all. Kaplan was going to do anything to get Kevin sole, physical custody, and he accomplished that. It’s all my opinion.
As for Britney, all I want is for her to be happy and with her kids. Whether that’s with or without Adnan, it really doesn’t matter to me. I also believe Adnan wouldn’t do anything hurt Britney. I’m sure if he wanted to talk about her, he would already have. Team Britney and Team Adnan.

I know the money is nothing in terms of what Britney bank account is. It’s more about principle. I guess I believe in both parents being financially responsible adults and providing for their kids equally. I say this as a kid who was raised by a single mother who worked her ass off to support 6 kids. By herself, no child support. Where there is a will there is a way. No excuses. OK…TMI on my life LOL. Britney wants her kids so she isn’t out bad mouthing Kevin for obvious reasons. He loves his children so much that when he and Britney were married, he was constantly bringing his thug friends around and smoking weed all the time. There are plenty of people that I hate that have never done anything to me personally. I hate people who abuse women and kids and I never met them. I know God says to love them but because of my career, I can’t help but hate them. I hate Hitler. Never did anything to me but I hate him. As far as a side by side comparison…..between who? Me and Kevin….ANY DAY!!! Shar and Britney? Don’t really care about that. Kevin and Adnan? Well that is a no-brainer to me. I never thought he was physically abusive to her. It appears that he has power and control issues and some commitment issues though. I think he does love his kids. I think Britney does too though and the way he was involved in the whole plot to get her to where she is now is unforgiveable to me. If you like him, then I am surprised but you can like whoever you want.

I don’t like him because he is a free loader that uses his exwifes money to fund his party. The money should be to support the kids and there is no way he is using all that money for Brit’s two kids. If he wants security then he should have a job and work and earn the money to pay for it. If he wants an expensive house and SUV then go to work and pay for it. It should not be up to Britney to fund his house payments and SUV and all the food the entire house eats. The money should be for the boys. Most parents do not get that much child support. If I dont like Fedex then thats my choice. Any man that mooches of his wife or exwife is scum. Yes he seems to care for the boys or at least for the money they can bring him. Until lately he was never seen with them but the hired help was. Yes Britney waas the one that said he brought his “thug” friends home. “Thug” means lots of different things but mostly it means people that do not care to do better in life, people that usually want a hand out from who ever they think owes them something, people who wants others to support them, people who do not hold a job but wants everything for free – no matter race, what their hair looks like or the clothes they wear.

i did not read anything about sam being conservator in those documents but one thing is troubling me about them. do you think sam hired eardly way back when britney first started to go down hill and then after eardly wrote this letter to britney same started orchestrating things to happen that were in the letter so that she would think eardly was something really special to be able to have predicted all this stuff. then he would have her trust and sam would be the hero for finding him and helping her? then sam would still be in charge…..huh….i don’t know. just popped into my head when i was reading that.

I saw it small. There are counterclaims by three plaintiffs (Britney and three of her companies) and they are against Johnny Wright and two of his companies.
Could this be why Mr. Townsend and Mr. Wright have has softened their tones? Why do they seem to pop up every time there is a “crisis” in the c-ship?

Sorry, but I always thought Adnan had been suckered into doing that interview with Entertainment Tonight.
When the interviewer asked why B’s Mom wasn’t at the hospital, he said something like, “How do you know she wasn’t?” It sounded like he was covering for her, or that Brit was supposed to see the interview and believe her mom really was there, when she wasn’t.

I know Amapola. I did mention 2 months ago how it would be interesting if Sam Lutfi was actually a night on a white horse. The theory was simple on how he just laylow. The Lynne/Jamie Spears camp did not really go after him with all this evidence they said they have on him. Instead they went on a propaganda about all these people around britney being bad. Now you get the think tank together, smoke some of that Snoop Doggy dogg ‘Chronic’ and find every angle why. Then you come up with a knight.
It’s really interesting how today came about. We’ve always thought that the way to get Jamie Spears out in the open is exactly this. Away from the protective circle that he had drawn and away from the protection of the conservatorship. With that you can now have a street fight. All out in the open in public view.

In terms of the tour…
If Virgin Mobile is the sponsor, doesn’t that mean that VM is *giving* money to the tour in return for the rights to put their name on it? (Which is the opposite of making money off of it.)
And that arenas, concert staff, choreographers, etc., would fall under “expenses,” and that the artist would keep the remainder of what’s left over?

Who get most and who get the pin-money. (who can be millions)
Madonna is special, because she, I´m sure runs all by different companys where she have contracts who take the blood out of them. Also, its most her own material…
The ones who are responseble for “driving” the tour, selling tickets, having areanes and all that, they get PAID as I understand it, for doing that. And they take a huge part.

Beacuse Brtiney are among oone ogf the few artist who alwasy sells, she get money. she can have a 360 degrees contract/agreement.
She is a BRAND.
Other wise they said isn this order:
(power and money)
booking company
broadband+internet company
music publisher
songwriter and artist (more if you done it all)
But for an artist like Britney its special, she get this 360 degree compact.
At least she should get it.

We have some very odd and strange accents of our language in my country.
Traveling with my friend was a little bit of a exciting, because I could never know if the people in the different areas thougt she make fun of them or what, because she as soon as after 10 min. start talking their dialects, and good too.
She Did Not Notice It Herself, she just have the ability and of course a very good “music ear”.

I thougt we alll understand that both Britney and Adnan know from start that it was probably impossible, even if they like each other. But I do think they belived that they could at least be speaking friends in the future.
They have after all, themselves, seen the hell she was living in, and he know how she respond on it. She do not have to explain for him, or pretend.
About picture… on some pics when she was alone with Adnan, she could relax and LAUGH, taking a walk, talking.
The main thing is, should she make everybody money and power happy, and still not be free. Getting her life back, livin the life of a divorced but free women, sharing the growing with of her kids and there future with Kevin.
She had a break down, yes, she loose the path for some time. NEWS, she´s not the only person
in US who have experience that.

Gigi, you are one of the people on here who ‘Doc’ often aims his/her small darts at. Most of them miss due to your inate sweet nature. I’m inclined to come down on the side of ‘Doc’ being male. The bitchy humor is a little too contrived. I can see ‘le Doc’ sucking on another ciggie and smugly enjoying much collective confusion as ‘it’ then swans off to party hearty. As for the Australian bush infernos, they are far more severe than Ca. wildfires, unfortunately, and as horrible and horrific as the Ca. fires are and have been. Linking any comment I make on this site as due to being effected by the massive and devastating fires in Victoria is incredibly inappropriate. Of course we are effected by the suffering of so many people, including good friends. The suffering of wildlife, the beautiful animals and birds that existed in abundance there wrench at my heart and torment my mind. We know the area very well. It was incredibly beautiful. A.M. I think it’s fairly well documented that you don’t have too good an ability to assess character of certain people and you appear to enjoy the mini mayhem and silly dramatics more than most. I’m just fed up with the bullpucky happening every time anyone gets close to some real nitty-gritty on here. You get close and along comes that twit to derail you all and take you away from getting on board the train of thinking that will take you somewhere close to real factual observation, and some answers.
