Sam’s Reign Of Terror

I swear, I expect to hear next that Sam Lufti was caught kicking a dog. But for now we have to settle for him abusing a young fan of former client Britney Spears.
TMZ reports that a young man from Auckland, NZ, struck up a long distance friendship with Brit, trading phone calls and e-mails. Then Sam stepped in and according to TMZ, “Richards claims Sam used several email accounts, posing as Brit, sending emails to Stuart and his dad saying Stu was ‘dangerous and had mental problems.’”
Whew! Those e-mails are seriously creepy. And notice the e-mail address Shady Sam used—the one he denied was his when it turned up on Brit’s messages. I wonder— did he start trying to contact Brit soon after he got the foreclosure notice on his condo? He needs to score some cash and shaking down a former client might look like the easy way to do it.

Brit’s Ready To Tour

Britney Spears is back down home in Louisiana, getting in some family time before embarking on her “Circus” tour next week.
People reports the singer, accompanied by an entourage that included her brother and two sons, arrived at the McComb, MS, airport today, where she was greeted by her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears.
A source close to the Spears family told People, “She looks great, she’s working out three or four hours a day. Everybody’s pulling for her after all she’s been through.”

Rihanna And Chris – Back Together!

This is so wretchedly, horribly wrong that I’m hoping it’s not true. But having seen the same thing happen before, it probably is.
People is reporting that Rihanna and her abusive BF Chris Brown have reunited and are staying together at a home belonging to Sean “Diddy” Combs. A source told People, “They’re together again. They care for each other. While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”
Wonder how long these two will be “happy?” Want to start the pool on how long before he beats her up again?

Will Chris Go Free?

When that photo of Rihanna’s bruised and battered face leaked last week, I speculated that its release might be used by the Chris Brown legal team. Now RadarOnline reports that Brown may avoid charges because of the pic.
Sources say a deal is being worked out where Brown will get no jail time and the charges to be filed against him have been downgraded from felonies to misdemeanors. There are suspicions that “the jury pool has been tainted” by release of the photo.
This seems like a very poor example to set. I can just see the lawyers of future felons whining that their client can’t get a fair trial because too many people know what he did.

J.Lo And Marc Sue Stroller Company

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are serving notice—you want to use them to hawk your product, you gotta pay up. The AP reports that the pair filed a federal suit this week in U.S. District Court against pricey baby carriage maker Silver Cross, saying “use of their images on the Silver Cross Web site to market the carriages has caused irreparable damage to both Lopez’s and Anthony’s public images.” The couple are asking for a cool $5 mil.
I can’t help but suspect these two have plans to get a lucrative endorsement deal with a rival baby buggy broker. Besides, they’re way too greedy to do anything for free.
