Jay-Z Offers His Support For Rihanna

Music mogul Jay-Z has known pop star Rihanna for a long time and was quick to offer his good thoughts for her at this trying time. He spoke to People at the NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix.

“You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that. I just think we should all support her. She’s going through a tough time. You have to realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.”

Jay-Z declined to comment on whether he has seen the singer, who is reportedly resting in the Bahamas with her family, recovering from an alleged beating at he hands of BF Chris Brown on Feb. 8.
