Heidi’s In “Limbo”

The future of “Project Runway” is as iffy as the next big trend. The show taped its sixth-season finale Friday in the tents in Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week but had to keep the contestants under wraps because the new season has been delayed by legal problems.

Variety reports that ”Project Runway” host Heidi Klum stated “This year is gonna be a little bit different for us, for all of you, for our designers backstage. … We’re all in a bit of a limbo and we hope that everything gets sorted out very soon.”

The show’s previous seasons aired on NBC Universal’s Bravo, but after their production company made a reported $150 million deal to move the series to Lifetime, NBC sued to block the change. So now the show won’t go on—at least not until the legal issues are resolved.
