Jacko Sues To Stop Auction

If you had your heart set on picking up Michael Jackson’s sequined glove at next month’s auction of his memorabilia, you may be out of luck.

The AP reports the singer’s company, MJJ Productions, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court today against Julien’s Auction House in West Hollywood, claiming founder Darren Julien failed to send Jackson an inventory of sale items. The suit states Jackson  has not given permission to move them all of the items, some of which are “priceless and irreplaceable.” It called the efforts to sell them “malicious, fraudulent, extreme, outrageous and without any legal justification whatsoever.”

Jackson is conveniently out of the country, expected to announce upcoming concert dates in London. Does he expect to make so much from the English gigs that he won’t have to sell his stuff?
