Anne’s Free – For Now

Anne Heche is officially a free woman, after a hard-fought divorce from cinematographer Coleman “Coley” Laffoon. The pair separated in Dec. 2006 and had been fighting over custody of their seven-year-old son Homer.

The AP reports that the pair will share custody of Homer when both are in Los Angeles, and Heche will pay $3,700 in monthly child support, as well as 75 percent of her son’s private school tuition.

The decree comes just in time, as Heche is pregnant by actor James Tupper. The couple met while both were doing the now-cancelled series “Men in Trees.” Let’s hope they won’t be fighting over custody of the new baby in a few years.
