Miley’s Heart Beats Faster

No, this is not a post about her romance with that hot model Justin Gaston. Miley Cyrus revealed a different type of heart problem in her new bio “Miles to Go.”

The NY Daily News reports the Disney star has tachycardia, which makes her heart rate exceed the range of a normal resting rate. “The type of tachycardia I have isn’t dangerous. It won’t hurt me, but it does bother me,” Cyrus states. “There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart.”

That doesn’t sound so good, considering she’s only 16. A performer has enough to think about onstage, like forgetting the words or costume malfunctions, without having to think about your health.

Miley has often been the target of criticism by the press over—well, everything. It seems that as far as certain people are concerned, she can’t do anything right. But she seems philosophical about the naysayers. 

“I try to be a good role model, and that’s why I think it’s too bad that lots of people hope to make money off my mistakes.”
