No Duets For Rihanna And Chris

One of the many stories coming out of the unfortunate Chris Brown/Rihanna reconciliation is that the troubled twosome had gone into the studio to record a duet together. Thankfully, People is reporting it’s not true.

A label source told People, “Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident.” The source continued, “Around August or September of 2008, Chris and Rihanna’s vocals were recorded as the reference vocals for this demo only. [But] the song was never conceived or intended to be a duet between them, and was later recorded by other artists. Nothing has been recorded by Chris and Rihanna together since February.”

That’s good to hear, but not as good as hearing Rihanna kick Brown and his team of snakes to the curb. I hope we won’t have to wait long for that one.
