Lance’s Boozy Flight

Sure, cyclist Lance Armstrong is hurting from a broken collarbone, but that’s no excuse for the boorish behavior he displayed on a recent flight from Madrid to Atlanta.

E!’s Ted Casablanca reports that one of Lance’s fellow passengers gave this observation of his in-flight conduct. “He was such an asshole. He was so wasted on painkillers, and he drank a lot. It was just obnoxious.”

How drunk was he? “Enough to be cut off,” Ted’s snitch sniped. Considering that famous passengers in first class are generally allowed to imbibe to their heart’s content, that’s a lotta booze. And mixing the hard liquor with painkillers is a killer—in the worst cases, literally.
