Britney Called Into Court

32509bs-30161

It seems like every week, someone is in court arguing over the fate and fortune of Britney Spears, but the pop star herself has been absent from the proceedings. That could change very soon.

TMZ reports attorney Jon Eardley has filed papers demanding that Britney make a personal appearance in an L.A courtroom to testify in his trial for harassing her and her family. Eardley makes the point that Brit will be in L.A. appearing at the Staples Center on April 16 and 17, and if she’s well enough to perform in front of thousands of people, she’s well enough to testify.

A judge gets to decide if Britney’s fit to testify and if she should. You can bet Daddy Jamie Spears and the legal team behind the conservatorship will be willing to do most anything to keep Britney off the stand. This could be very interesting, since there are certainly a lot of questions we’d like to hear her answer.

    Prediction:

Sam Ingham, Britney’s court-appointed attorney, will be pointed to. In Febuary of 2008 Ingham made an assessment of Britney’s capacity to understand legal proceedings and to retain her own lawyer. Wow. He made that decision in 15 minutes while Britney was still in a hospital gown at UCLA.

I believe all requests for Britney’s testimony in any court case have been denied because she “lacks capacity” as proven by the Probate Court’s decision back in February 2008. True she did get to meet with the Commission before her journey to France, Germany and England, but she looked so sad afterward… Makes you wonder what she was told.

C-ship is a farce at this point. Check into Britney’s insurance policy for the tour. Don’t you think the policy was granted on the condition that the c-ship remain in place? There were rumblings in the media about that but it is right to keep a person under c-ship for the purpose of making money?

Eardley, I hope you have some backup. Don’t let this become The Verdict or rather do make it The Verdict and surprise them all.

If she is that incompetent, certainly opposong counsel will make note of this on the stand. If she is that incompetent, then why is she ON TOUR across the world?????

WAKE UP MASS MEDIA and see that her civil rights are being violated. She is clearly NOT “gravely disabled”.

NO ONE deserves to be treated this way…God gave us FREE WILL and the State of California has taken hers away!!
